What We Do

LCAS is an organisation that functions for arbitration and reconciliation among the councilors, provides legal & development support on issues of local governance, enhances coordination and unified approach among all tiers of local government, and develops participatory governance for the well-being of citizens.

Local Councils Association of Balochistan in collaboration with the CLGF and under the support of the EU held a workshop for Strategic Planning and Training Workshop on Major Minority Laws for its MinorityDevelopment Committee Members on April 28-29 2021.


She discussed importance of these laws for improving social functioning of women. She also informed women councilors regarding Dispute Resolution Councils (DRC), which is present in Pakistan since 2010. She urges women to utilise it and attain information through its field office

Local Councils Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held Training on Provincial Laws for Women with the collaboration of CLGF and support of EU.

Ms Khursheed Bano simplified the laws for women property rights, harassment at Workplace and domestic violence laws.
